Rules & Guidelines

Dear Parents/Guardian

  • The observance of school discipline and good behaviour is absolutely essential for a student's continuance in the school.
  • No shouting or whistling is allowed inside the school campus.
  • Bullying and the use of foul or abusive language are punishable offences.
  • Morning assembly is a solemn occasion. Students must maintain absolute silence during the assembly.
  • Carrying mobile phones and explosive materials on the school campus is strictly prohibited.
  • Students are expected to respect school property and handle it carefully. In case of any damage, the student will be liable for the cost of the damage caused.
  • The school reserves the right to suspend or take disciplinary action against students whose performance is below standard or whose conduct is unsatisfactory.
  • The school is not responsible for any goods lost on the campus. Students are advised not to bring valuables or wear expensive jewellery to school.
  • Students are accountable to the school authorities for their behaviour both inside and outside the school campus.
  • Wearing fancy earrings, rings, or bracelets is strictly prohibited.
  • Half-days will not be granted unless there is a valid medical or other genuine reason, and the parent personally comes to accompany the child home.

Punctuality

  • Students coming by their own conveyance must arrive at school before the bell rings.
  • Students returning home on their own must leave promptly after school. In case of delay by parents in collecting a child, the child must immediately report to the school office.
  • An application for leave of absence stating valid reasons must be submitted whenever a student is absent from regular classes.

Parent-Teacher Interaction

  • The almanac should be regarded as an important medium of communication between parents and the school authorities. It must be completed in all respects, including the child's photograph and the parent's signature.
  • Parents and guardians may not meet teachers during school hours without prior permission from the Head of School.
  • Students must get their report cards signed by their parents/guardians within three days of receiving them.
  • Parents can also interact with teachers through the school website.
  • In addition to regular PTMs held on Saturdays after school hours and on the last day of the month, parents may meet teachers whenever necessary with prior permission.

Recommendations To Guardians

  • Encourage your ward to maintain a balanced interest in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities.
  • Restrict daily pocket money; excessive spending should be discouraged. The school is not responsible for any loss of money from the school or classroom.
  • Parents are requested to provide health education to their children so that they maintain good personal hygiene and fitness.
  • As English is the medium of instruction in the school, regular conversation in English at home will help your ward improve communication skills and academic performance.
  • Please do not send gifts or expensive cards to school authorities on occasions such as Diwali, Teachers' Day, or birthdays.
  • Do not give money to your ward for class collections or charitable contributions unless written information has been provided by the school.
